Afternoon tea, with Mom and let the past go

 "For you who watched the rain sadly"

I found that sentence in the first page of the book. This is my favourite one in my bookshelf.  
I want to tell you about this. 

Walking Afer You was published in 2014 it's an Indonesian novel written by Windry Ramadhina. This is Windry's seventh book. I've read her first novel and the title is Orange it was published in 2008, but Orange is not the first Windry's book that I read. It was Montase (2012) and I just felt in love with her writing. 
In my hometown, I got all of her books. I have 6 books that written by Windry, I missed one book called Metropolis (2009) because she said "it wasn't published again until don't know when" how sad I am.

 

I like Walking After You very much since Windry announced its synopsis. Windry announced that the book will be publish soon. Unfortunately, at that time I had been intending to stop reading the novels and began to focus on  UN, and looking for college. I keept my money (my parents give it) to buy my booklist and a new handphone. 

Time passes away, I finished all of my task such as Practical exam, Try out also National exam. I doing nothing at home except re-watching Tinkerbell and Runningman. I missed reading a new book. Then I began to open my Twitter account and wella! I found that there was a giveaway that held by Windry. I joined the game. 

 

Luckily, I got it! I got it! yeah, I really got Walking After You also Interlude (2014) with her signature and a simple message from Windry it's "Have a nice afternoon tea! enjoy the macaron!" 

In a rainy afternoon, I told my mother about that, and she said she's happy too.. then she asked me "why you really excited with that?" then I took Walking after you and showed it to her. We spent the rainy aftrenoon dicussed about the context with a cup of tea and sweet macarons.

 

Books and socks are the best couple

Why I wrote about this? suddenly it's show up in my mind right now. There's reason. There's a relationship beetwen the first sentence on the top and the rain. Someone ever ask me about what's my favourite books and I answered it was Walking After You. He also ask me what's my reason. I told him that because I won the game and got it for free, both of them. That's correct, but still there's another reason that I kept. 

 

The story is about the girl who want to move on from her past. An should leave her sad story. However, she is still in the same place. Together with the dream that she couldn't reach nor she couldn't remove it. Just like Coldplay's song lyrics "the hardest part was letting go not taking part" 

it's a good novels i think. Windry write it perfectly, with a well-prepared plot and a simple story she made it into touching-romance novels. 

 

about the reason, I don't want to write it there. Maybe you can ask me in person (if you wanna know) but i'll try to keep writing there, trying to express my feeling in worn even it's little bit hard.
